A really lovely Victorian black enamel and turquoise brooch with a lucky horseshoe design. The brooch is around 4.5 cm long and has its original pin and C clasp in good working order. The black enamel is in very good order and the turquoise cabochons are beautiful, displaying the different tones of turquoise, from light greenish to teal. Two single turquoise cabochons are set into a star design on either side of the horseshoe. This pin is most likely made from brass.
