This piece is a bit of a mystery. I bought it in France and I think it's made of either shell, angel skin coral or some kind of horn. However, it's smooth and heavy, not porous like bone or horn. It's a nice old pendant or charm for a collector to enjoy. Also very wearable and nicely carved. Good antique condition.
