Antique French locket ‘Je Porte Bonheur’. Swallow good luck pendant locket
£125.00
sold out
A very special antique locket pendant made in France around 1910. The pendant has a brass frame and a silver plated plate at the front featuring a depiction of a swallow holding a ribbon with the French phrase ‘Je Porte Bonheur’ (I bring good luck).
on the back there is a lucite panel holding a photo of a boy. The parts of the locket can be taken apart with care so that the photo can be replaced but I would recommend a jewellery does this for you.
This locket is in good antique condition with some of the silver playing having been a little worn away.
The original bale is worn so a ring has been attached to the more solid part of the frame so that many years of wear can still take place.
